Questo progetto è nato con lo scopo di creare un lavoro interdisciplinare, che sviluppasse uno stretto legame tra i diversi media coinvolti, sia nel risultato finale che durante i processi di progettazione e di realizzazione. Abbiamo voluto che la creazione di costumi scenici bilanciasse stesso peso strutturale della composizione del suono e dell’immagine in movimento, e che ne condividesse tanto gli argomenti che vi stanno alla base, quanto il fine espressivo.
Sulla scena sono presenti un soprano e due performer. Le tre figure indossano dei capi realizzati da Valentina Barbaro. L’azione è contenuta in una struttura architettonica luminosa, che amplifica e distorce i dettagli contenuti nelle texture dei costumi e del suono.
Questo terreno di corrispondenze, tra l’acustico, il tattile ed il visivo, è reso manifesto attraverso la parola, il cui compito è di raccontare, descrivere e documentare l’abnorme, l’assurdo e il surreale.

This project was born with the aim to create an interdisciplinary work, that could develop a tight relationship between different media, both in the final result and during the process of production and realisation. We wanted that the costume design could balance the structural weight of the composition of sound and moving image, and that could share both the same matters and the expressive purpose.
Onstage, there are one soprano and two performers, wearing costumes designed by Valentina Barbaro. The stage action is set into an architectural light structure, that amplifies and distorts the textural details of the costumes and sound.
This field of allusions and cross-references, between the acoustic, tactile and visual matter, is made manifest by the speech, which task is to narrate, describe and document the abnormal, the absurd and the surreal.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- a stereo or 4ch PA system with 2 subs
- 1 or 2 lavalier directional condenser wireless headset microphone
- 3 in-ear wireless monitors
- 16:10 projection screen (at least 6,4m x 4m)
- a capable projector
- 9 or 18 LED DMX programmable bars, depending on stage width (32 LED RGBWA each)
- USB to DMX converter
- a computer with MAX 8 or Ableton Live 10 + Max4Live
- a decent sound card
